Very good food, friendly service, nice atmosphere - again this time. We were there with 7 people, all dishes were served quickly and at the same time. Pleasantly quiet and acoustically well damped. Exemplary implementation of the current hygiene measures, mask is also worn behind the counter. The selection on the menu is again very extensive and offers something for everyone.

Have been here many times and love to come back again and again. Friendly staff, good food and a stylish atmosphere. Simply recommendable!

We were 6 people here and had both fish and meat dishes. They all came at the same time and were hot. In terms of taste everything was very good and nobody had bones in their fish 😉 I will be very happy to eat here again.

Based on a recommendation we went to the Sielkrug, unfortunately we were very disappointed. It's a shame, as the restaurant is actually cozy Mixed fish platter: fried potatoes was almost cold and the fish was very dry. At the next table they complained about the cold potatoes and then the waiter was very unfriendly, the next guest left his probably also dry fish there. We didn't want to contact us either, although that should have been done with the not cheap prices. Conclusion: there are a lot of restaurants in the area that deliver much better quality for much less money.

The furnishings are tasteful and translate traditional Nordic elements into a modern, homely theme. The service staff is great, the dog was offered a treat. The food (there were three kinds of fish with boiled potatoes and a horseradish and pepper cream sauce) was excellent!

Very good food, prices absolutely okay. The staff was super nice with northern German charm, we felt very comfortable. As it is very popular, you should reserve a table.

We found out on our first visit that the Sielkrug is so popular with holidaymakers that you can't get a table in the interior without a reservation. The tables outside, which cannot be reserved, were all occupied that evening. Even on our second visit, with continuous rain and 14 degrees, some of the covered tables were occupied. It should be noted that due to Corona in the outdoor area, no blankets and pillows are distributed here. Directly at the reception you are asked to disinfect your hands and the QR code for checking in the Carolienensiel community is pointed out. I would describe the furnishings as modern and cozy - deep leather sofas, plus leather armchairs with armrests - on our first visit we had different seating levels. I was also able to observe once or twice that people had switched places because the seating level was too low for them. With the drinks we stuck to the Aperol Sprizz (5.9 €). Is served here with glass straws, so that you can see immediately whether it has been cleaned properly. The mixing ratio of the Aperol Spizz was a little different after each order. For the starters, we stuck to the chicken soup (€ 5.9) and the tomato soup (€ 5.9). For the chicken soup I would have liked to have had a little more chicken as a filler, but it was delicious. The tomato soup is a bit thicker per se here and had a mountain on our second visit. In terms of consistency, this had nothing to do with soup in my opinion. This was more like a tomato must. Very intense taste, but okay. For the main courses we had the "pork medallions with mushrooms" (21.9 €), the "chicken breast woodcutter style" (18.9 €) and the "onion steak" (28.9 €) in the 300g version ( € 3.9 surcharge). The pork medallions had very strong roasted aromas and a nice crust, but were still slightly pink inside. The vegetables were well cooked but still had some bite. The delicious mushroom cream sauce was abundant, so I didn't have to save on meat and croquettes with the sauce. The portion size of the "chicken breast woodcutter-style" can be described as plentiful and would probably have fed one or the other woodcutter. I usually like to have sauce with my meat, but the chicken breast, onions, and fried potatoes were so juicy I didn't miss them. At the end we had shared the house dessert (waffle, cream, vanilla ice cream and hot churches) (5.9 €) and ordered a pot of coffee (2.9 €) with it. It was a good thing, because it would have been too much for me that evening alone. We had nothing to complain about the service on either visit. Drinks and food were always served quickly. The placing of the guests is practiced quite well here. On our second visit we had e.g. only a window of 90 minutes for our reservation. But with the fast operation it is completely sufficient for 3 courses. Card payment is not a problem here, and neither is the use of Apple Pay. Only the tip is not allowed on the card, it can only be paid in cash here. We have a good 4 stars overall ...

My mother and I are in Harlesiel for a day. We originally wanted to go to the Tüdelpott, which unfortunately closed at 6:00 p.m. Since we were quite exhausted from the day, we looked for an alternative here, because we didn't want to look great anymore. We received a really nice welcome. A very sympathetic and rousing man. When we found out that instead of a bar / cafe it was a somewhat upscale place and we didn't really have the greatest appetite, we ordered at least a chicken soup that was enough for us. From then on we unfortunately didn't have a very pleasant stay and felt rightly devalued. We would have had the money to eat normally, only we didn't want to stop anymore. It is a shame that the dealings in this direction are beaten. Otherwise the food looks very tasty :)

We ate delicious (schnitzel and fitness salad) and had a nice terrace with a view. Everything is well organized and the staff know what you are doing. If we are back in Harlesiel we will definitely come back.

We stayed at the Sielkrug Essen for 3 weeks from the beginning of August. I had looked out the restaurant on the internet before going on holiday in order to arrange a seat reservation It was admirable and praiseworthy how the regulations were observed and carried out in Corona times, but 5 stars plus. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and did more than a good job. The food was always delicious and appetizing for the eye, full 5 stars for everything. You can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience. We wish that the Sielkrug continues to get through the Corona time well.

Delicious fish and meat dishes! My chicken breast was cooked to perfection and the braised onions were delicious. The fried potatoes were great. My companions were all very satisfied with their fish and the salad. A great ambience with a beautiful view of the water and nice service! One of the best restaurants in Carolinsiel.

If something doesn't go smoothly, you don't get flimsy excuses, it will be apologized and fixed! I don't want to do a job like this these days! Food is very, very tasty! The cake is fresh and tastes homemade, the pieces are relatively large. The dinner was very tasty, the portions adequately large.

Whether fish, meat or vegetarian, in the beer mug everyone will find something for his / her taste. In a modern style and a quiet atmosphere you can also enjoy the view of the canal. We did not have to wait long for our food (<20min) and there was plenty to eat.
